Okay, I think I'm good now ^^. Thank you so so much for your kind words, I can't even tell you HOW MUCH I appreciate your effort and your detailed answer (especially because this was my first fill ever and more or less my first finished English fic); I'm sooooooooo grateful for your feedback!

You're right, going back over my fill now, it feels like there's lacking something between the kitten-scene and the later development of Altaïr's fascination/kink/creepiness. I should have elaborated more on how it occured , and I think I *might* do that later (when life is less a bitch and let's me write without shutting down my laptop all the time... :-/).

Yes, the rotting!Kadar bit was quite... heavy. I hope I didn't cross the line to "seriously-TOO-much". I wrote the thing and even to me it's a REALLY disturbing scene where I'd prefer just to look away, so yeah, I do understand ;).

You're probably right, this would never survive on ff.net, but I think I'll post it on AO3, just in case I'll get the time to write some more in the disgusting!creepy!Altaïr universe. Because I did enjoy writing it on some weird level (not for the violence or the blood, but for the challenge, mind you).

I think that was brilliantly written and I did not get the sense at all that english was not your first language? What was it, may I ask? This fill was historically and culturally well integrated- could I venture you had arabic as a first language?

Anyway the descriptions here were absolutely amazing I cannot even say. Few things make me shudder in writing but your writing did, and at the end when you described Altair's erection... If I could have done a table flip I would have, except I'm in a hotel and the table is nailed to the ground. Again I cannot praise your attention to detail enough- everything is well placed and flows easily for visualization (shudder).

I'm in China right now roaming the streets, getting ripped off, and getting in trouble with the communist police (bigtip: don't say anything bad about Chairman Mao, whether it's true or not... especially right after Tiananmen square remembrance). I have a good chunk of my fill done but it's nowhere as good in description and gore as writer!anon's is D:
Originally I felt like there wasn't enough gore in my fill and I focused too much on the WHY aspect of the obsession. But I'll post it when it's done because writer!anon wrote more than enough gore and blood and disgustingness for the both of us LOL

Wow, China, that's so great! I've been learning Chinese for about a year now because I have some friends there, and I really want to visit the country someday. It's so fascinating geographically, culturally and politically. (OP studies Political Science, so... yeah ;))
Are you in Beijing now, or where are you, if I may ask?

(An AC story set in China would be sooooo amazing, btw. Maybe I should think of something, prompt-wise...)

My first language is German, actually XD, but I'm kind of flattered that you thought it was Arabic - writer!anon will start studying Arabic (culture, history and language) in September.

Just like OP, I envy you greatly for being in China; un-flip-able tables are a common cause for frustration, really ;).
