Seconded! We need more historically-accurateish fic, and Charles Lee's life was especially interesting compared to the other historical characters (seriously, just google it) considering the strict morals (read: prejudices) gentlemen were expected to hold back in those days. I mean, a lot of historians seem to think Lee suffered from a mild mental illness, considering the severity of his moodswings and temper tantrums, which would be a very interesting thing to incorporate into the fill imho. It would be interesting to see Haytham and William's responses to Mrs Lee especially, since they had more contact with Native people than the other Templars.

It was one by sittingroundthesamovar, I don't remember the title, where Charles was in modern times and kept having mental breakdowns where he thought he was back in the 1700s and forgot about his modern life. Or at least, that's what Lucy and Haytham were telling him.

In his modern life, he'd been engaged to this girl, but she died in a car accident, along with their unborn twins, but in his "memories" he'd married her and they'd had the twins, as in history.

So the wife-n-kids don't actually appear, but are at least mentioned.

And I have seen fanart on deviantart and tumblr of the twins, one of Charles carrying one of his infant sons, and one of them all grown up saying "I don't know why Ratonhnhaké:ton hates us so much, we think he's pretty cool".
