Do you have any particular pairings for the pirate party? I don't really ship anyone in particular, except for Anne/Jack (but that's mostly historical shipping on my part), but I can mix it up with some weirdness like Ben/Vane, and even if I do, it will be mostly blink-and-you-miss-it type of stuff.
Also, they will still collectively believe that Mary is James Kidd cause that just cracks me up so bad.
