Inspired by the above anon who is very obviously desperate for some HaythCon, let's have a prompt to celebrate!

Someone, anyone, gets hooked on something that they find utterly, utterly fascinating. Leonardo with kittens, Altaïr with Maria's hair, Desmond and muffins... To the point where they have to tell their best friend about it.

All the time.

Every waking hour of the day.

Going on and on and on.

Until said friend is half an inch from punching their best friend in the face until they will just shut up already.

And of course the talker is utterly oblivious to even the most heavyhanded hints to shut up, because it's fantastic and fascinating and if their friend would just listen a bit more, they, too, would see the fantastination that is their obsession.
