Oh, Oh! Thank you thank you! This is a horrible tease of an opener but I love all the little details like Versailles forever smelling like shit, and Maria wishing the little girls would stop with the bickering and have a proper punch up. And of course Lafayette would find Connor more interesting. *nods sagely* He's probably the whole reason Lafayette bothered to come to the ball. Hoping to see our boy done up nice and fancy.

Lucy! Clay! Desmond! The latter two safely offscreen and alive.

Though, at first I thought the girls were challenging all the boys to duels with the glove throwing, which makes for hilarious mental imagery, and then my brain rebooted. Really looking forward to the continuation and the other fill, whenever you get the chance to work on them! Take you time! I'll wait. *rolls in fic*

Nooooo how dare you, I was almost finished with writing the whole fill but now I feel like I need to fit this in, somewhere, somehow. How dare you. How very dare you.
But uhhh yeah so quick update: got some family visiting, have no peace and quiet so I can do my thing, but luckily I've written a bunch of stuff that I'll be posting in a few days.
