Then maybe we just want the same things to happen! :)

Ezio Auditore against the World 5 (1/2) [the one above is supposed to be 4]

(Anonymous) 2011-11-22 09:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Sorry about the numbering mistake ^^;

I finally read the comics XD I’ve only watched the movie until now. Gotta say, I like the book way more XD
Part 5

“Oh yeah,” Vieri mentioned off-handedly as Ezio stared at Salai’s glowing hands. “Salai has mystical powers; I forgot about that.”

“Actually, before you fight,” Desmond asked with a drunken chortle. “Like, what’s up with his outfit?”

“He looks like a bloody gigolo,” Desmond’s boyfriend, Shaun-a snarky British, added on.

“You should have seen his hair before!” Vieri answered with a soft snort, his eyes a little unfocused. “It was like he permed the bottom part of his hair and it looked terrible! He looked like one of those old fashioned dolls!”

Salai hmmpt-ed loudly. “You’re just jealous of my fashion statement!!” he shrieked. “I’ll deal with you after I destroy Auditore!”

The glow around Salai’s hand grew and morphed into large dices, the cubes also giving off an eerie light. Smiling darkly, the slender male screamed, “Catch it if you can!” and promptly threw it towards Ezio’s direction.

Smirking at the challenge, the scarred male stuck his hand out, only to roll out of the way when Leo screamed at Ezio to move out of the way.

It was a good thing Ezio had listened because as soon as the die got in contact with a surface, it exploded.

“Hmph, lucky bastard,” Salai growled. “Let’s see how well you can dodge now!!! Come on ladies!”

With a snap of his fingers, several levitating figures popped up, surrounding Salai protectively. “Say hello, to my little devils!”

“What are they?!” Ezio shouted, staring at the provocatively dressed…things. “Demon hipster chicks?”

“No,” Shaun said, raising his glasses to take a better look. “I believe those are demon hipster drag queens.”

Salai ignored the comment, and started to throw the exploding dice at rapid tempo, the demon hipster… whatever they were, mimicking his movement, quadrupling the amount of dice being flown Ezio’s way.

“Shit!” the bassist grunted as he shoulder rolled to dodge another attack. He turned to his bandmates sitting on the side. “Some help guys?”

“Sorry Ezio,” Antonio said with an uncomfortable smile. “We’re friends but I’m not going to risk my life for you.”

Rosa actually had the gall to look mildly satisfied. “Don’t even look at me.”

“Fuck you all,” Ezio growled, giving them the one finger salute and scanning the area for anything to distract the flamboyant idiot. A cymbal caught his eye and Auditore jumped towards, grabbing it as he rolled away safely.

Stop jumping!!” Salai whined. “I can’t hit you properly!!!”

“There!!! SEE!!!!” Vieri slurred loudly. “This is exactly why Leo dumped your immature ass!!”

“What?!” screeched the jilted ex, turning towards Vieri and the others on the balcony.

Using Salai’s distraction to his advantage, Ezio took aim and threw the cymbal like a discus, hitting Salai perfectly on his head. He sprinted forward, his brown hair flying behind him, jumped high and punched Salai so hard…. That the ex exploded into coins.

“Oh cool, money!” Ezio said with a smile, picking up the small pile of change. “…Wait, this is only $2.10, I can’t even go home with this!”

“I’ll pay for the other 40 cents,” Leonardo replied, eyes darting back and forth. He grabbed Ezio’s arm and practically flew out of the club.

---

“Ugh, what happened?” Rebecca asked groggy-eyed. She had fallen unconscious by a wicked hit from a cement block during Salai’s attack.

“You fell unconscious,” Claudia answered, dusting herself off. “And you missed this weird battle.”

“Oh… did Ezio leave?”

“Yeah, left with his new friend.”

“So…” Ezio drawled off. “What the hell was that about?”

“…What? Vieri showing up??” Leonardo replied with a laugh. “I told you, he’s my friend… and my roommate.”

“No, the flamboyant guy. Gian Geronimo Gelly.. Cappicino? ….Salai. ”

“Oh…that…” Leonardo sighed, staring out the window. “I… guess… you have to fight my seven evil exes? In order for us to… continue dating.”

“You have seven evil ex boyfriends?!”

“Seven evil exes… yes…”

“…Wait, you date seven EVIL dudes?” Ezio inquired again, his eyes wide.

“Not at once!” Leonardo turned to Ezio, a reassuring smile on his face. “Ezio I’ll understand if you don’t want to date anymore. I mean, seven is quite a lot of baggage.”

The bassist chuckled. “Leo, I want to stay with you! And if all I have to do is fight-”

“Defeat,” Leo cut in.

“Defeat,” Ezio corrected. “Seven jerks that can’t get a hint to move on, I can do that.”

“Thank you Ezio,” the blonde said with a reassured expression.

“So… Can we make out now?”

“…On the bus?!”

“Yes?”

“Sure.”

Super short because volume 1 ends here :D

I agree, the books are better. Characters more fleshed out, etc...
This. Story. Is. Awesome. It's like, the most awesome thing I've ever read. You stick to the Scott Pilgrim storyline and give it a wonderful Assassin's Creed spin.
And I love you for it.

I really want to read something with Vieri being fought over….. that wasn’t written by me Q.Q…

Courted Part 2

From his vantage point, Ezio stared down as Vieri sauntered along, surrounded by his henchmen. No matter how hard he looked, the younger Auditore couldn’t pinpoint what his brother saw in that pompous ass! It wasn’t as if the dark haired de Pazzi was ugly but his personality was just so decrepit and rotten that any physical beauty Ezio could see was over shadowed completely.

Ezio watched curiously as de Pazzi and another mercenary branched off and walked towards the alleyway between the building he was on and the bakery next door. Vieri seemed angry, eyebrows knitted and his mouth in a thin line.

The younger Auditore strained his ears to listen in. “You know why I brought you here, si?” Vieri’s icy voice shot out.

“No, signore,” the guard replied, his ruddy face paling in fear, clenching his spear tightly.

You brought shame upon my family, idiota!” the young de Pazzi shrieked, unsheathing his blade.

Ezio stared down with narrowed eyes as Vieri viciously cut down one of his own men. Cringing in disgust at Vieri nonchalantly wiping his blade on the dead man’s tunic, Ezio thought, ‘There! Evil! That de Pazzi is nothing but evil!!!’

Stepping over the corpse, Vieri strolled deeper into the alley, a shortcut that led to the poorer districts of Firenze. Despite fuming at the older male’s complete disregard for human life, Ezio followed Vieri as he continued to glide through the shadows deeper and deeper into the poor region.

---

‘Why am I even doing this?’ Ezio thought to himself as he stood on top of a cracking roof, glancing down as Vieri tapped gently on the decaying wooden door.

“Signore Vieri!” the lady squeaked as she opened the door. “Come on in! What brings you here?”

Vieri shook his head, his raven locks swishing back and forth. “Don’t have time to stay Alda,” he whispered. “I just came to inform you that Avito will not be bothering you or your sisters or your girls anymore. If any of my other guards harass you, do not hesitate to inform me.”

Alda gasped, eyes shining with unshed tears. “Thank you,” she said, getting to her knees and kissing his hand.

“What are you doing?!” he hissed, blushing darkly. “Get up!”

She rose to her feet, hands clasped as if in prayer. “You don’t understand how much that means to us Signore. Avito…He… he is not a good man, mistreating my girls. And... I cannot do a thing because I can’t afford to get protectors for them.” Her composure broke, tears streaming down the tired face.

“Si, I know, I know,” he replied with a sad smile, handing her a silver signet ring. “Take this. It has my personal seal on it; if anyone bothers you or your girls again, just tell them that Vieri de Pazzi is fond of the girls here and show them the ring.”

She held the ring tightly to her chest. “Thank you. I-I know how much trouble you get with your father because of us.”

Vieri shrugged. “He expects this of me now,” he soothed her, turning to leave the small brothel. “Besides, who will protect the puttanas if I don’t?”

---

Ezio slumped in shock; Vieri wasn’t just some selfish brat after all. He had been protecting the whores from his guards!

The younger Auditore rubbed his head in thought. Just how much of the Vieri the majority knew was the real him, and how much was used as a disguise to protect the poor, and the weak?

(Anonymous) 2011-11-24 03:03 am (UTC)(link)
By the time Ezio shook himself out of his reverie and free-ran back into his part of the city, Vieri was back to being an obnoxious jerk. He jumped off the roof and stomped towards Vieri, thankfully sitting alone by the fountain.

“Oi, de Pazzi!” He called, Vieri’s eyes narrowing and expression turning dark. “I need to have a word with you.”

“Well, unfortunately for you,” he growled. “You aren’t the Auditore I need to speak to. Where is your idiotic brother? I need to discuss with him, his rather hilarious joke. Please note the sarcasm here.”

“He sent me,” Ezio answered confidently with a smile. He actually had no idea what Federico had done but he needed to question the enigmatic de Pazzi about what he saw before. He gestured to an abandoned house. “We can talk in there.”

“You seriously think I would just waltz in an abandoned house with you?”

Ezio leaned in, whispering in Vieri’s ear. “Well, our topic isn’t really something you’d want to talk about out in the open, do you??”

“Cazzo,” he hissed, pushing the smirking Ezio away. “Just lead me there, bastardo.”

---

“Is Federico so much of a coward that he’d send his brother here to talk instead?” Vieri snarled, dusting the ancient bench and gingerly sitting down.

Ezio shrugged, leaning against the door to prevent de Pazzi from leaving. He had to ask quickly before Vieri realized that his brother didn’t send him here… or his brother waltz into town for his afternoon walk.

“Why did he send them to me?” Vieri inquired, his tone biting and harsh.

Shit, his lies were starting to unravel already! “I’ll ask the questions first!” Ezio retaliated, his expression twisted into a frown. “Why do you kill your guards?”

Vieri raised a thin brow. “Is that even a question?” he said with a snort. “Because they are annoying scum of the earth.”

“No,” Ezio pushed on with a shake of his head. He pointed at the shorter male sitting down. “You deliberately killed those guards that were harassing the whores! I want to know why!”

Vieri shot up, his face flushed and his eyes blazing. “Who the hell gave you the right to follow me around!?” he growled, slinking towards the other male.

“God Vieri! Why do you pretend to be vicious when you are actually nice?!”

De Pazzi slammed his hands on either side of Ezio’s face, caging him. Only it didn’t quite have the same effect as Ezio towered over him. “Listen here Auditore,” Vieri hissed, tilting his face up to meet Ezio’s eyes. “I am not “nice”; I’m just a person that got his head out his rich ass and saw the people that needed help. Also, unlike your father, my father believes that being charitable is a weakness.”

Looking at Vieri’s conflicted expression, Ezio felt pity bubbling from the pit of his stomach. “Vieri,” Auditore said, clasping his hand on a thin shoulder. “You don’t have to act that way to impress your father. He doesn’t even deserve it.”

Vieri slapped the hand away. “I don’t want your pity, bastard.”

“I’m serious; you don’t need your father’s approval to be happy!”

The shorter male snickered darkly, eyes narrowing further. “I may not need it to be happy, but I need it if I’m to inherit his wealth, his power.” He whispered. “How can I help those people if I do not have the power and influence to support my cause? Idiota!”

“I-I see your point…”

Vieri pulled back, lips drawn tight. “I’m going to assume that your brother didn’t send you.”

“…Si.”

“Well, then there’s no point in me staying here,” Vieri said as he pushed Ezio away from the door. “This……conversation we just had. Keep your mouth shut about it.”

Then the raven was gone with a flourish of his cape, leaving Ezio with nothing but his thoughts and more questions swirling around in his head.

Courted Part 2 (3/3)

(Anonymous) 2011-11-24 03:05 am (UTC)(link)
Vieri cursed loudly as he stalked out of the house, cursing Ezio as he went; the idiot had made him waste valuable time that he could have been using to find and interrogate Federico!!

With a grunt, Vieri threw himself on the bench again, where could he find the elusive eldest Auditore?

“Looking for someone?” a tenor voice said with laughter. Snapping his head behind him, Vieri came face to face with Federico.

“You, actually,” he retorted, smirking at Federico’s shocked expression.

“Me?”

“Si, did I stutter?” Vieri growled.

Federico slumped down onto the bench, thinking how if they were to hold hands, it’d be a wonderful date.

Vieri cut straight to the chase. “Why did you give them to me?” he hissed, quietly enough to avoid questioning stares.

“What?” Federico drawled with a smile.

“Idiot, what do you think?! the flowers!” the shorter male answered, clenching his fists tightly.

Federico’s expression turned serious. “Because I didn’t think you’d take anything that came out of my mouth seriously… So I demonstrated my love for you instead,” he whispered.

Vieri flushed darkly; it was too much for him to hear Federico’s confession out loud. Biting his lips softly, he stomped off. “I-I need go.”

Federico grabbed his arm. “You’ll think about it though, right?” the elder Auditore whispered.

De Pazzi ran without answering, his mind still boggled by the fact Federico Auditore loved him.

---

Ezio stared out from the window as Vieri fled from his elder brother, a deep blush across his pale face; Federico stood there, staring at the hand that had held the de Pazzi heir moments before. The younger Auditore nodded to himself, Vieri deserved to be happy. He would help Federico to win Vieri over, like the good brother he was. Deep inside though, Ezio couldn’t help but question if Federico was the right person to make Vieri happy.

---
I remembered the post about the anon mentioning how Vieri would have to be ooc in order for Ezio to even think about pursuing him…. And this anon agrees.
Hence, explanations for why he killed own guards and such… OTL God, this explanation makes no sense….
Argh OTL so much dialogue
Federico is very easily pleased.
Sorry about any grammar mistakes etc…

Re: It's not stealing, it's borrowing without permission...Minifill

(Anonymous) 2011-11-24 03:39 am (UTC)(link)
....this makes my third fill, and I think I’m becoming addicted to filling stories that I read, and then let fester in my mind.
And I swear, there are spaces between lines in the document before I copy paste into the comment box. (grumble)
Anyways, La Volpe BORROWING the Auditore children (this may become slightly AU, but still set pre ACII style)

The day was beautiful. Such a glorious day, with fluffy clouds, and blue sky, and it had been raining for the last few days.

So of course, the first thing La Volpe did after his run through Firenze was to go see Giovanni Auditore. Although the man was an excelling Assassin, there was no way the man couldn’t be itching for a race after those rains kept everyone inside, locking down businesses and swelling the canals.

“No, La Volpe. I am busy today. Mario is visiting, and we have much business to discuss.”

La Volpe didn’t blink at the disappointing news. Rather, he lounged in Giovanni’s chair, and laced his fingers, looking at the other man.

“Are you certain, Giovanni? I am sure that the work can wait long enough for a race. It’s not as though your papers can up and walk away.” La Volpe smirked at him.

Giovanni scowled.
“No, La Volpe. Beautiful as the day is, I cannot be held from my work. Why do you not enjoy the day with the thieves? I am sure that they need some guidance after being kept from profit for four days. Besides, Maria is off to Mass to thank God for the rains having stopped, and my sons are in their studies. There is no reason I should not be at home if they need me.”

La Volpe didn’t perk up at the mention of the children. Or that both Giovanni and Maria were busy for the day.
And her most certainly did not leave where Giovanni could see him head out, for the sole purpose of doubling back and picking up the two children.

“I am La Volpe, a friend of your fathers. Do you wish to spend the day outside?”
Of course, it wasn’t so much borrowing, as following the children outside while the teacher was sleeping lightly. Then La Volpe scooped them up and ran up to the roof, showing the children off and having them follow him on this beautiful day on the rooftops.

They hit the edge of the city, and Ezio was tired, so La Volpe scooped him up and set him on his shoulders. Ezio was wide eyed and squirming, Federico ranging out ahead of them, when Giovanni came thundering up on horseback, Mario just behind him.

“Salute, Giovanni, come to join us on this beautiful day?” La Volpe called out.

Giovanni was red faced, but after Federico and Ezio came shrieking out of the field where they had been laying flat, and out of view, to slam into his legs, he picked up his sons and swung them around.

And La Volpe was not smiling at a job well done.
Mario guided his horse closer to La Volpe.

“If Maria hadn’t suggested that you would ‘borrow’ the children, we would be having a very different conversation.”
La Volpe nodded.
Mario sighed.
“You’re already plotting the next kidnapping, aren’t you?”

“Not kidnapping. Just borrowing. Without notice.”
…..
Ugh. Four different endings, and I picked this one. I hope you liked, because I went some off the picture, some off the discussion, but I hope OP likes!
...did this not post?

Re: Heat aka FUCK ME NOW Minifill

(Anonymous) 2011-11-24 05:24 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, the La Volpe piece just sent my mind into the gutter (sadly, I have no skill at writing smut) and because it’s ‘a certain age’ poor Machiavelli just wound up regretting staying for that extra drink with his friend. ^.^
Please, anyone, feel free to fill as well! (I just grabbed and ran with La Volpe/Machiavelli)

The night was warm, the window open and the reveling from Carnivale drifted through the window. Machiavelli sighed, his wife was at home with the children, and here he was, stuck on another late night, fighting against power-hungry maniacs with the aid of those not in moral repute with the law.

His life sounded like a fairy tale- unbelievable and out of proportion.
No wonder his wife thought he was having affairs.

La Volpe had been lounging behind his desk, eyeing Niccolo for the most of the night. His arms were locked behind his head, his legs crossed and extended, but something was…off. Niccolo wondered if La Volpe was tired, or concerned with other matters. Truly, he would never get a straight answer out of his friend, but holding his silence wasn’t solving the dilemma La Volpe was bound in. Something was making La Volpe tense.

Tense enough that the philosopher had picked up on it. But not tense enough to come out and tell Niccolo what was making him tense. Rather than chase the circular logic around the track one more time, Niccolo spoke up.

“I would think I was not welcomed, with how tense you are. If your mind is elsewhere, then I will be on my way home, and we will conclude this later.” Niccolo made to rise, but La Volpe was suddenly there- his hands pushing Niccolo back into his seat.

“You will not be going anywhere, amico mio.”

La Volpe fixed Niccolo with a stare that made the hairs on Niccolo’s neck rise. Once again, he was reminded that La Volpe’s eyes really were violet, and not some off shade of blue.

With fluid grace, the fox, master of thieves, seated himself in Niccolo’s lap.

“Well, there is something that I need your help with.” La Volpe bent down and nipped at Niccolo’s mouth. “Surely, since you are so eager for us to stand against the Templars, you won’t begrudge me some help?”

Niccolo spluttered.

“Only if doing so is actually helping, and not one of your stupid pranks!” He finally pronounced.

La Volpe grinned.

“Oh, I think seeing my skin is actually glowing is a good indication that this is necessary.”

The rest of the night was spent with La Volpe keeping Niccolo from passing out.

And convincing half the revelers of Carnivale that a ghost haunted the tavern.
….
It’s midnight. And I’d post this straight away, but I want to make sure it’s my best first. On second thought, I won’t have the chance to tomorrow. So I’ll just post (gives it another scan through) Eh. Good as it’ll get right now.

Fill Part 2a/?

(Anonymous) 2011-11-24 08:46 pm (UTC)(link)
“Common, pick up the phone!”
Tuuu-tuuu-tuuu...
Federico was nearly giving up, when finally he heard a mumbled: -What?- at the other end of the line.
-I'm happy to hear you, too!- Federico chuckled at his boyfriend's not-so-good temper: it wasn't definitely easy to deal with him sometimes, but Federico loved challenges.
-What. Do. You. Want?- Vieri growled, making his boyfriend understand that he wasn't in the mood for his stupid shit.
-Ehm...Are you doing something tonight?- Federico asked hesitantly, keeping his mobile at a safety distance from his ear, just in case Vieri decided to yell some random insults at him for being such a pain in the arse.
-Yes, yes I am. Now I'm going to watch a movie and then I'll read some boring novel to fall asleep! Goodnight!- replied Vieri, revealing his clear purpose to end up that stupid conversation as quickly as he could; but, unfortunately for him, Federico wouldn't surrender so easily.
-Wait wait wait! Why don't come at my place?- Federico's voice was almost pleading, but probably not enough to convince Vieri, who didn't answer.
-Please! You've always been so busy this week, we almost didn't see each other!-
It was true: university had recently taken most part of Vieri's time and Federico had only managed to see him between a class and another. Federico knew university was really important to Vieri, but his lover had really been too distant and cold towards him and he was starting to get a little bit jealous, even if Vieri had never given him any reason to doubt his faithfulness.
Waiting impatiently for Vieri's answer, Federico vaguely realized that he had just used more or less the same words his brother had used a few minutes before when he had come to his room to ask for permission to go out with Leonardo. At that thought, Federico pouted: probably his brother's words were nothing but a lie, while his...
-Is that idiotic brother of yours at home?- Vieri's question brought Federico back to reality.
-Ehm no, he has just gone out with his new boyfriend- he replied quickly.
-Allright then...-
As soon as he heard those words, Federico completely forgot everything else he was thinking about:
-Great! I'll wait for you! Bye, love!-
-Stupid!- was Vieri's answer before he hung up.
Federico chuckled: his boyfriend hated all kinds of pet or affectionate names and he always got annoyed when he called him “love”, “honey” or simply “Vi'”.
He had a glance at the big wooden wall clock in front of the entrance door: Vieri would arrive in ten minutes, so he had time to make sure that Petruccio was sleeping.
He climbed up the stairs and turned left, towards his little brother's bedroom: he cautiously opened the door and took a look inside: the room was dark, but he could see the sleeping figure of Petruccio and hear his difficult breathing. He approached the bed and gently pressed the back of his hand on his brother's forehead: luckily the fever had gone down. Federico kissed Petruccio's cheek and sweetly ruffled his hair, then went out of the room, closing the door at his back.
He went downstairs and sank into the sofa, waiting for Vieri.
He would have definitely preferred to be completely alone with his boyfriend, but he couldn't blame his little brother: it wasn't his fault if he had come down with flu. In return, he could blame Ezio for being so selfish: he was not the only one who had a boyfriend, after all! Ok, he and Leonardo had just together, but that didn't allowed him to lie and do whatever he wanted to: it was his responsibility to take care of Petruccio and instead he dumped the problem in his lap. Thinking that, Federico couldn't help feeling a little selfish and guilty himself: he deeply loved Petruccio and would do anything to protect him, but he also loved Vieri and he could feel he was somehow losing him...
Deep as he was in his thoughts, Federico nearly jumped when he heard a car stopping in front of his house: Vieri had finally arrived!

Re: Fill Part 2b/?

(Anonymous) 2011-11-24 08:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Grinning, he rushed to the entrance door and, before Vieri could ring the doorbell, he had already opened the door, grabbed him and pressed his lips on Vieri's in a desperate kiss.
The latter was a little surprised by Federico's actions, but he didn't complain: instead he put his arms around the other's neck and indulged in the kiss.
When they were both breathless, Federico hugged him tightly and nuzzled Vieri's neck.
-I miss you, you know that? I thought you'd found someone else at your university: someone smarter, nicer and maybe even more handsome than me!- Even though Federico's last words were said in playful tone, Vieri could perceived that Federico had really worried about that and he felt a little bit sorry for him.
-You're an idiot, so it wouldn't take me long to find someone smarter than you, if I wanted to. Luckily for you, I don't feel the need to do so- replied Vieri and Federico knew that that was Vieri's way to tell him there was no one else but Federico in his life.
Federico smiled and pressed another kiss to Vieri's lips, then they both entered the house and sunk together in the sofa: Federico put his left arm around the other's shoulders and pulled him closer.
