This is something I've often wondered about. I mean, if Desmond is still able to view Ezio's memories when the man was in his late forties, when did he finally spawn Desmond's ancestor? I think Ezio eventually evolved into the Renaissance version of Hugh Hefner, old as dirt and still getting more pussy than anyone else.

It should start out in Ezio's time. He is in a relationship with Leonardo and while he is holding the apple he is thinking about how he wants to have a family with Leonardo and the apple ends up giving him the ability to conceive. Which means bottomEzio! But that's not all! Meantime in the present, Desmond is reliving Ezio's memory and is causes him to gain the ability to concieve as well.
So, Ezio and Desmond both have babies in their own time. Shaun/Desmond if that wasn't obvious.

Bonus if Ezio and Desmond are clueless about what's happening to them.

What if that was something that they can actually see/hear, as a part of their Eagle Vision?

Basically, I want to see Desmond or Altair or Ezio getting a reputation for being able to find lost things (being able to see the sparkles the TV remote's giving off from between the couch cushions) and being able to tell when someone has something they want (Hey, can I have that candy bar you've got in your bag if you're not going to eat it?) and thinking that it's totally normal to be able to hear when there's money hidden in places like the freezer or wherever.

Desmond continues to go through an aging Ezio's memories, right? The question always comes up on when Ezio carries on his line. However, Ezio has a couple children already (can be from lady of anon's choice.) While Subject 16 is a descendant from these kids, Desmond is not.

What nobody knows is that Ezio is immortal from his exposure to the Apple. Ezio ended up around the Farm that Desmond is from and had slept with a woman there (romantic, fling - also your choice.) See where I'm going with this? Desmond is conceived. Being Ezio's son, Desmond continues to synchronize with the genetic memories.

Bonus points: Ezio had actually been a part of Desmond's childhood.

It would be awesome if this could have some punching, pushed-to-the-wall-hidden-blade-poking-neck threats, attempted gay 'curing' via doctor and prostitutes, sending the youth on dangerous, far away missions, and finally some public humiliation which finally drives Salai away... To Leonardo.

Desmond or 16 experiences his ancestor being tortured

Altair or Ezio is tortured for information by the Templars. It's brutal and horrifying but no disfigurement/dismembering please. Of course, neither Altair nor Ezio would break so it goes on for a long time - days, weeks of isolation, sleep-deprivation, starvation etc alternated with brutal torture.

Normally whoever's running the Animus, whether it's Vidic at Abstergo or the modern-day Assassin kids would pull the subject out of such a horrifically painful memory and skip him ahead - otherwise the subject could have all kinds of problems synchronising in future. Even Vidic would know this is not a good idea.

Problem is, this memory contains essential information (maybe one of the torturers says something important or there's some detail of the surroundings) and they don't know when this will be revealed. So there's no way to get the info except for the subject to fully experience the whole thing. So in he goes.

Cue repeated desynchs as the subject struggles to remain in the memory and his body rejects it. He has to somehow find a way to achieve mind-over-matter to stay synched. Angst, nightmares, Skinner-rat like physiological panic reactions to being strapped in the animus; h/c, etc etc.

Maybe this is what drove 16 nutty as a fruit bar? Maybe Desmond decides to man-up and says "if my ancestor could endure this without breaking, I can too" and wants to get it over with and insists on being left in the animus without taking a break, and Shaun finally respects him and stops making wisecracks at his expense... whatever...

Also, I really want to see the subject admiring his ancestor for his endurance and courage and thinking "wow, I wonder if I would be able to resist so well in that situation", and then finding out - actually, I am doing just that by remaining in the memory.

The torture could involve anything except, as I said, no dismembering or serious disfigurement. Points for historically accurate torture devices of your chosen timeframe, but this is not essential.

Sorry to make this so specific, I wonder if I should just write the damn thing myself.
