I've been rereading my favorite books again

Basically I want a Stardust - the book by Neil Gaiman - crossover. Not necessarily the plot or the characters or anything like that but I want the setting, which if you haven't read the book is pretty simple.

There is a village by a stone wall that is guarded by the locals. No one is allowed to go past the wall except once every few years when a festival/fair/market takes place on the side opposite of the village. The village is in the normal world with technology and science, and to pass the wall is to pass into fairy/magic/fantasy. If magic things are to come into the normal world they become normal objects. (beings too if you want to stick to the book, and without spoiling it too much they basically cease to exist so one too many steps and poof they are dead)

I don't care what it is (it can be general or romance or crack) but I want one of the AC characters going across the wall. It can be during the festival or maybe they sneak across for some reason. Just have fun with it.

Since I've been rabidly fanning for the last few hours over the setting for AC3 (have there even ever been games set in the American revolution? I know of a bunch of old west cowboy games and maybe some tactical games but i cant think of anything set in that part of american history) I figured I should prompt it.

In other words I want a AU native american/colonist or red coat/colonistor WITH Ezio in the pairing somehow. I want conflicf and sexual tension across enemy line and social standards.

It's certainly the first mainstream game, anyway; all of the previous ones to my knowledge was niche stuff on pre-PS2 consoles (i.e. KOEI back before the infamous Dynasty Warriors franchise once did a turn-based strategy game for DOS/SNES/Genesis called Liberty or Death) or on PC, and even then they're almost always strategy games, so this will most likely also be the first American/French Revolution-era "action" game.

Because Lost Archive is slowly driving me insane: William/Clay, set before Clay becomes Subject 16. Can be as fluffy or as smutty as anon wants, and can be angsty, as long as it doesn't become too angsty ( like... I don't mind some "sleeping with a guy half his age and cheating on his wife" angst from William -- or anything anon thinks of -- but I'd prefer it to not be the complete focus).

Pressed between the wall and the man in front of him, there was really no way Clay could possibly say no to the slow grinding that had been making him feel more and more lightheaded. That voice, that insufferably calm voice, cracked as he whispered something filthy in his ear that Clay didn't quite catch. He felt like maybe he should say something, tell him to keep going, don't stop, hurry it up before he loses his mind, but he couldn't get his mouth to work that well, so he could really only grip the other man's shoulders and shift his hips and gasp and hope that managed to display wantneedplease. Some mindless praise was murmured against his neck before a series of wet kisses traced up a line leading to his jaw. He couldn't breathe, couldn't think, couldn't couldn't couldn't- "Fuck, Bill..."

Fingers gripped his short hair, sharply tugging his head away and baring his neck so William had better access to rake his teeth along the pulse point there. Clay made a sound that could really only be described as a whine, his hips rocking, rutting against his mentor's leg and fuck he was panting wasn't he? "Ask nicely," it was a breathy order, whispered directly into his ear, with enough authority behind it to make Clay's cock twitch.

"I... Please?" He could barely see the way William's eyebrow raised because of the angle his head was being held at, but he could definitely tell that wasn't good enough from the way the friction slowed. "Please, fuck, I... I'm really bad at begging, sorry. I just..." Bill released the grip on his hair, looked at him patiently, almost paternally. Why the hell that made Clay's mouth get dry he didn't know, didn't really want to think too hard about, but he was sure Freud was feeling really smug in his grave at the moment. What he does know, however, is that he'd do anything for this man. Including this. Begging was hardly the weirdest kink Clay had been willing to fulfill for someone. "I want you to fuck me." He sounded quiet, maybe a little insecure. William started slowly grinding against him again, encouragement, a wordless 'keep going'.

Okay, keep going. He could keep going. "I want..." He swallowed around a soft groan as his pants were unbuttoned. "I want you inside me, I want to feel you fucking me hard and-" The older man's hand wrapped around his cock and Clay arched so quickly and so hard he banged his head against the wall behind him. His own fingers were trying to find purchase on the wall, trying to hold himself up, even though he knew, he knew, heart and soul and mind, that Bill wouldn't let him fall. "Jesus Christ, Bill, I... William, sir." The man in question sucked in the slightest little gasp, impossible to detect at all if Clay hadn't become so entuned to watch for any little reaction William gave him. With that little crack in that eternally calm facade, Clay completely snapped, too turned on, too invested in making William gasp like that again, to be embarrassed anymore, and he kept running his mouth. "I want you to pin me up against this wall and fuck me until I can't walk. I want you to make me beg for more, harder, faster, deeper.like the little slut I am until I can't talk anymore."

Finally, William's hand started moving faster, the friction just shy of painful as those calloused fingers squeezed and pumped his dick. "Yeah, just like that, fuck, just like that. I want you to spread my legs and make me fucking scream and forget who the hell I am and what year it is, I just- fucking- Please, please, please, oh fuck, don't stop."

William was panting against Clay's neck, stoking as fast as he could manage, feeling the way his newest recruit tensed and writhed in his grip. Clay's legs quaked as he kept babbling, a mindless string of please and fuck and noises that would make even the most religious men turn to sin, and he knew this wasn't going to last much longer. William would just have to fulfill those pleas some other time, he supposed. Gasping hard, Clay's thighs tensed like bowstrings, and he leaned in close to growl in the younger man's ear as he came. "Good boy."

These Fishes in the Sea

The world is a vice closing in around him and it is the only thing he knows. It is a pressure all around him, like walls shrinking in on themselves, and it makes everything else seem distant and unreachable; Rebecca and Shaun's voices are distant, a reminder of where – who – he is, but their voices are faint and they get easily lost in the static that is Desmond's mind.

Ezio is easy to become trapped within, easy to lose time in, through missions and assassinations as though they are one. When he stops being able to wake up, when it becomes impossible to open his eyes and step out of the Animus, it becomes harder and harder to distinguish himself from Ezio. There are times when he can't tell which are his memories and which are Ezio's. It starts as something completely underneath their control, and it transforms into something that takes its hold on him and won't let him go.

He has felt this way before. He has gone through these motions before. The first time he had stepped into the Animus, the first time he had looked through Altair's eyes, the confusion and difficulty in separating their lives had been immediate. This feels the same, but he doesn't have an end to help him focus on what is his own life; he can't wake up, can't get out of this dream world, and everything is starting to blend together.

The descent into Altair had been slow, like a dead weight sinking underwater. It had been subtle and controllable and he had never been worried about impossible things happening. He had never had to worry about the impossibility of a memory – of data and numbers and nothing – taking notice of him. There should be nothing that gives him away, nothing that is any different, but there is something unfamiliar underneath his skin and bones that Ezio is starting to notice.

Malik had not noticed – had wrapped himself so wholly around a single person and still had not even seen so much as a glimpse of Desmond. Malik had loved a memory, one that could do nothing but accept, and it had all been in the programming; it is nothing but data. He is a memory that plays out like a recording, over and over again until Desmond forces Altair to do the right things, to put him in the right place so that he will say the right thing.

The Animus is strange though, and it warps memories into something real enough that Desmond feels as though he can reach out and touch them. It burns like something that should remain hidden, like something that should have never been discovered, and it burns, and burns, and burns. The truth is there, just out of Malik's reach – just beyond what he is capable of seeing – and he may recognize that there is something different about Altair, but he cannot voice his concerns; he is only data, only programming from a memory that is just so and cannot change. The Animus is intricate, is a mess of numbers that are impossible to decipher, and Malik may have sensed something was wrong – maybe have sensed something amiss – but there had never been enough to grab hold of.

Ezio is just a memory, but he does not listen to the Animus' programming. He takes the memory apart piece by piece and, when it lays out before him, he sees a glimpse of something that shouldn't have been able to be seen. Ezio had seen a piece of Desmond that shouldn't have been seen and it had caused turmoil – had caused a rift – in the system that had never truly repaired. Him knowing is worse than the burn, worse than anything else, and it is inescapable.

Ezio is learning. He notices that there is something amiss, that there is something there that doesn't belong, and it's been this way since the first time he heard the name 'Desmond.' It is terrifying. They shouldn't know that Desmond is there, they are memories, and they shouldn't-

They're not real.

“How do you know you're real?” Sixteen asks him. He sits on a rock and watches Desmond pace like a cat might watch a mouse. His lips are curled into a smirk that makes Desmond feel uneasy, makes him feel his skin crawl, but he can't really explain why. “What if you are just a corrupted memory, lost in a data stream that someone else is accessing?”

I would give someone infinite huggles if they would kindly write something based off the above Tumblr post.

Ezio doesn't think of his recruits as weapons or tools or underlings, but as his children or grandchildren. He buys them presents for random reasons and gives them hugs and ruffles their hair and offers them sweets. And, of course, when they're in trouble, he'll jump in and help them out. Being badass men and women capable of looking after themselves, the Recruits are understandably all 'Stop treating me like a kid!' at first but slowly grow to like Ezio's grandfatherly behaviour, and they really miss him when he retires/goes to Constantinople/both. So they make sure to write him letters when he's in Turkey and pop in every now and again to his little Tuscan farmhouse and, IDK, stealthily weed his garden and whatnot.

TL;DR Ezio being the Grandfather of the Brotherhood of Assassins, with heaps of fluff and sweetness and stuff on the side! :3
