Mermaid Edward!

Because we don't have it yet.

Anyways, in another part I ended up reading a fill for mermaid!Haytham, which was great. However, it just ended up making me crave Edward as a mermaid, too.

So I was thinking that one of the Templars in the game perhaps ends up finding Edward and capturing him, keeping him as a prize and a curiousity. One of the pirate captains ends up finding him when they attack one of the forts. Shit happens, and a partnership is struck up. Sunshine and adventures galore!

Ok, this anon is almost done with the Main Storyline of AC4, and I have had my heart broken in sequence 10. James Kidd/Mary Read is my favourite character, and her trying to save Edward from himself with her dying words.. Well, anon has been crying for half an hour.

So, she never died. I refuse. There was too much between Edward an her to just let her die. Please, anons, give this sad anon some salve for her broken heart and give me ANYTHING happy with those two. Doesn't matter if Edward things she's James Kidd or knows her as Mary Read, I want happiness, shenanigans , fluff, heart to heart talks or just something random.

Step 2: Bribe/convince/kidnap Leonardo into coming over.
Step 3: Get the artist to overdose on the strongest version of Antonio's café they can find.
Step 4: Run for cover.
Step 5: Terrify the city guards with the new defences/weapons while Leonardo sleeps off the caffeine crash.

Alright lasses and lads, the title pretty much sums this up. Before Edward finds out that James Kidd is actually Mary Read, he accidentally walks in on Kidd changing, and finds a set of boobs on that chest. Edward is shocked, and so is Mary who desperately tries to cover up and explain. Mary could have a big crush on Edward since they met, and her feelings slips and confesses to Edward, who finds that attraction interesting, as he finds Mary very appealing. Thus leading to sexy smut. C'mon, we need some sort of smut on these two.

Happy modern AU with the Kenways!

Okay, so, this would take place in a modern au where everyone's alive, including Edward's pirate buddies.

So amongst the pirate buddies, there's a running pot as to whether or not Edward's son, Haytham "Dead Below the Waist" Kenway, will ever reproduce. It's been going on for years and everyone sees it is a good laugh, since they figure no one will ever be able to put up with his emotional coldness.

So imagine their shock when one day they hear the rumour that Haytham has been visiting a native woman, who happens to have a son with the Kenway nose and mouth.

Obviously, in the interests of settling the pot, they have to go and investigate this.

So basically what I'm asking for is dumb pirate buddy shenanigans, with Haytham face-palming, Anne and Mary laughing in the background and Conner and Ziio just being weirded out by all of these dumbasses that keep trying to spy on them and failing. At the Ranger's mutiny, Vane screams that he'll "cut [Jack] another cunt". Another, eh? To me that implies that Vane and Jack did the dirty pretty often, with Jack bottoming.

Honestly, whatever author wants to do with this bit of speculation is fine.

Vane going batshit on that island, ranting about his relationship with Jack as he tries to kill Edward, maybe blurring the two together due to their similar appearances (blond hair a similar length/style, similar build and height, skintone/beard scruff, etc)?? Jack reminiscing about the old days with Anne and Mary when he's had too much to drink?? Jack tries to apologise to a Vane who has completely lost his sanity while imprisoned?? I have no clue man just go where you want. Just have it mostly post-mutiny, yeah?

Crazy!Desmond, Time travel

The Animus works a bit too well for Desmond and forms a mental link with one of his ancestors (author's choice). Unfortunately, his mind can't handle the large influx of memories, knowledge, and skills, and he ends up going rather insane. Not exactly drooling and chewing on his tongue insane, but definitely not quite right.

The mental link goes both ways, though, and the ancestor has been watching Desmond through his dreams. He sees that Desmond has been captured and is being 'tortured' with some strange contraption. Desperate to save this boy that he's connected to, the ancestor uses The Apple to get Desmond and bring him back to his time.


Can be gen or any pairing. The relationship between Ancestor and Desmond can be familial or romantic, but I definitely want them to be very close, with the Ancestor feeling rather protective.


Bonuses

-Crazy though he may be, Desmond is also perfectly capable of being a badass (thanks to the skill absorption from the Animus), much to everyone's surprise.

-Others are wary of Desmond, because of his oddness and the fact that he seems to know things that he shouldn't be able to (from the Animus memories).

Hello, writer!anon here with some good ideas, but curious exactly what sort of crazy OP had in mind? Because this sounds like the Bleeding Effect on steroids, which I will happily do (I love me some Bleeding Effect, even if this wouldn't be quite the same), but I don't want to mess up what you had in mind for the prompt.

Oh man, I saw this wonderful prompt from Part 4 and never got filled...
"I don't know why, but my headcanon keeps making me think that even though Altair's an assassin and isn't expected to talk much, his speech seems a bit too clipped, to-the-point, and outright forced at times compared to the other members of the Brotherhood.

Which leads me then to thinking, what if Altair comes off as a jerkass even though he really isn't a jerkass? What if Altair's just a really shy and introverted guy that comes off as abrasive because he doesn't know quite how to handle himself around people?

And so, I want a (College?) AU where Malik and Altair are semi-vitriolic best buddies. Malik understands Altair's lack of social skills and has been berating Altair for the longest time about not working on improving them (even though Malik doesn't exactly help him try). All the while, of course, harboring some one-sided feelings for Altair.

Cue the entrance of Ezio, the insufferably charming new guy who's completely intrigued by Altair and enamored with him. Going about his usual manner of expressing his interest and flirting, Ezio constantly teases and ribs Altair, to which Altair usually gets flustered and reacts in a very - for lack of a better word - tsundere manner.

Of course, sparks fly and Malik just really does not like Ezio for trying to muscle in on his territory (so to speak) and makes quite the effort to subtly cockblock Ezio and his advances at every opportunity.

I don't particularly care who Altair ends up with, so long as he's not made to be some weepy, blushy-blushy ukefais."

so, connor fails a certain mission and finds out he hasn't saved his game since after his mom's death.
he decides to change the settings on the game to make it easier for him, like the difficulty goes from extreme to easy, and then he turns on tips and guide.
from there, he goes through his life again, and remembers to save after or during every mission.
+bonus: at one point, he says, "fuck this shit!" and he decides to play a different game, like dmc3, or ff13, or prototype, maybe even ac2 or ac1.

This is the awesomest prompt ever. Not OP but I will give you all the internets and one bratty kitten if Connor decides to play sequences 1-3 of AC3.

+ I will add an extra socially inept grownup cat if Connor is constantly yelling at his father, making him desynchronize, making Haytham completely flub his Leaps of Faith to try to keep him from showing off for Ziio, etc.

+ Plus a really stupid, but cute, dwarf hamster if Connor makes Haytham fall onto the roof of the building right after Ziio does her Leap of Faith. (The "I don't trust you" "Yet I remain" conversation). You can actually do this without desynchronizing, I've done it several times, it knocks Haytham down to half his health and makes him look really stupid. I imagine Ziio snickering at his clumsiness.

Connor wants Haytham to (re)join the Assassins... whether Haytham wants to or not

So there are a lot of fics out there where Haytham knocks Connor out at the fort, then tries to force/coerce/brainwash his son into becoming a Templar. Let's see the opposite of that.

As in game, Connor gets the upper hand on his father, but manages to knock Haytham out without killing him. He knows that as an assassin he should probably just kill the man, but by this point he can't stand the thought of killing (losing) his father. So, Connor decides to take Haytham back to the homestead, and rehabilitate him into an assassin.

Haytham does not want this. Connor does not care. The other residents are a little confused, but more than willing to make Connor happy.

Bonus
+10 Haytham was injured at the fort, and is literally unable to escape. Instead, he's completely bedridden.
+25 Connor/others are going to make Haytham an assassin again with kindness. Haytham would really prefer it if they tried torture or psychological warfare.
+100 Someone (jokingly) suggests Connor use "hug therapy" on Haytham. Connor actually goes for it. Haytham has absolutely no idea what's happening but doesn't completely hate it.
+1000 Haytham starts thinking that one/several of the homestead residents are pursuing Connor, and starts going papa-wolf to protect his hopelessly naïve boy (who deserves much better). The person/persons in question realize this, and start playing into Haytham's delusion because its bringing father and son closer together. Connor has absolutely no idea what's happening but doesn't completely hate it.
+100000 Happy ending!

Some dumb modern AU with a lot of dogs

Yeaaaaaahhhhhhhh, Kenways!
Anyways, Connor has to come live with Haytham, and unlike most other AUs, where they snipe and argue a lot, they get along pretty well, especially since they have one things in common:
They both really like dogs.

Haytham has one old bull terrier named Minerva, and a recently adopted poodle name Juno.
They are well trained(getting there with Juno), and made for the indoors, but enjoy the daily walk.

Connor has three dogs(they would go with him on hunting trips, so they're hunting dogs). He has a German Shepherd named Mars, an English Mastiff named Jupiter, and a Shiba Inu he named Pluto.
These dogs are also well trained, and respond to Connor's native language rather than English, so they only respond to him or those he teaches the commands. Dead rabbits end up on the back doorstep more often than not.

Charles Lee attempts to join the group, but his Pomeranians are not very welcome, and Jupiter nearly crushed one last time they came over.

Other characters can pop up if you want, I just want Haytham and Connor to hang out with their dogs and bond through them.

Ezio/Leonardo: Painters in gilded cages

I want to see an Ezio that goes way off the deep end after the events of the Da Vinci Disappearance, and gets obsessed with keeping Leonardo close and safe; especially after Leonardo has gotten kidnapped twice in three years.

And being absolutely filthy rich (anon ended Brotherhood with close to three quarters of a million in cold, hard cash), Ezio decides to install Leonardo on the Tiber Island; supplying his old friend with all the materials he could ever wish for, and even gets over their little flirting rounds to intitiate a full-blown relationship. Thus keeping Leonardo close and safe; and only interacting with people that the Assassins trust completely (meaning Assassins or their closest family).

Until one stray comment from Claudia of how at least Cesare allowed Leonardo to go outside on his own makes Ezio realise that he's imprisoned his old friend. Directly against the core identity of Assassins as standing for freedom and liberty. Cue massive angst from Ezio.

The kicker is that Leonardo is happy. He has all the materials he could ever ask for; he never has to sleep alone; he doesn't have to be paranoid any longer; he has all of the assassin recruits and their families around to talk to; and any little invention of his has at least six people standing in line to try it out. Sure, his social life outside of the walls is a bit shot, but that's a small price to pay for the complete creative freedom and financial liberty he enjoys.





TL;DR version:
Ezio goes paranoid, and imprisons Leonardo on Tiber Island to keep the artist safe. Leonardo never gets to leave Tiber Island, nor interact with anyone that's not an assassin. Then Ezio realises he's just as bad as Cesare. Leonardo, though, thinks he's lucky to have full creative freedom, all the materials he could ask for, and Ezio's love.

I have a bad habit of wanting to see my favorite fandoms combined with a crime show, because I love seeing the characters interacting with law enforcement.

Maybe the FBI has been looking into a series of deaths that lead back to the Assassins?
